New Delhi, May 12, 2026: Renowned journalist and social activist Dr. Vipin Gaur, General Secretary of the Newspaper Association of India, was honoured during the grand celebration of International Nurses Day held at the GIPMER Auditorium in New Delhi on Tuesday. The event witnessed the participation of nearly 500 nurses and healthcare professionals from various departments.
Dr. Vipin Gaur attended the prestigious event as the Guest of Honour and received immense appreciation for his continuous support towards the healthcare and nursing community. The program was organized by the Nurses Association of GIPMER under the leadership of President Sh. Kapil Dharwal and General Secretary Sh. Devendra Kumar Jain.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Dr. Puja Sakhuja, Director of GB Pant Hospital, along with Special Guests Smt. Vimal Rani, Nursing Superintendent, and Smt. Usha Rani. Cultural Secretary of the Newspaper Association of India, Sh. Vivek Sharma, was also present on the occasion.
Addressing the gathering, Dr. Vipin Gaur praised the dedication and sacrifice of nurses and healthcare workers. He said,

During the ceremony, Dr. Vipin Gaur felicitated several nurses with the prestigious “Award of Excellence” for their outstanding contribution to healthcare services. His presence and inspiring words received a warm response from the audience.
