Traffic on Palace Road was briefly disrupted on Tuesday evening after a cobra was spotted in the middle of the road with its hood raised,startling motorists and pedestrians.
The snake remained on the carriageway for nearly 30 to 40 minutes,leading to slow-moving traffic.
The presence of the cobra caused minor inconvenience, particularly for heavy vehicles passing through the busy stretch.
Police personnel reached the spot,secured the area and safely rescued the snake,restoring normal traffic movement.
