Binish Thomas has once again been nominated as a member of the BIS Media & Entertainment Services Sectional Committee under the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), functioning under the Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food & Public Distribution, Government of India.
His reappointment is widely seen As this post is alloted even to opposition parties MPs,but for the dedication and good works for the welfare of public Binish Thomas has been choosen for this post and reappointed based on his performance and public service.
It even reflects the continued confidence in his expertise and contributions toward the development of quality standards for India’s rapidly evolving media and entertainment sector.
The Media & Entertainment Services Sectional Committee plays a significant role in formulating standards and best practices to enhance quality, professionalism, innovation, and consumer confidence across the industry.
The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS), India’s National Standards Body, is responsible for developing and implementing standards that promote quality, safety, and reliability across various sectors while safeguarding consumer interests.
With his extensive experience in journalism, media, and public affairs, Binish Thomas is expected to make valuable contributions to the committee’s ongoing efforts to strengthen standardization and support the growth of India’s media and entertainment ecosystem.
