A 19-year-old student was killed and another injured when a speeding truck down down the motorcycle they were riding near Gottigere, Nice junction on Bannerghatta road on Monday.
The deceased Chirag,and her friend Inchara student of a private college heading towads Jigani to have lunch duing college break.
The truck which was heading towards the same direction knock down the duo .
Passers-by rushed the duo to a near-by hospital where the doctor Declared Chirag as dead while Inchara is being treated at the intenvie care unit.
Sensing trouble the tuck driver abandoned the vehicles and escaped .
The Hulimavu traffic police rushed to te spot cleared the traffic ,seized the truck and booke a case of hit and run against the driver for further investigation.
