Chief Minister D K Shivakumar today hit back at Union Minister Kumaraswamy for his uninformed comments on river linking project saying he should get an update from the PM and Union Jal Shakthi Minister before commenting.
Speaking to reporters at Vidhana Soudha,the CM said, “Kumaraswamy should first meet the Prime Minister and the Union Jal Shakti Minister.He should get information about this project and speak only after that.”
Asked about Kumaraswamy’s statement that the river-linking issue was not a real estate matter and that the quantity of water needs to be fixed, he said,”I will give the answer to whoever needs it,whenever it needs to be given.”

“We have resolved to make Karnataka a drug-free state. Work is being done to create awareness among youth, students, and parents.Everyone should cooperate with the police in this process.That is why the Police department is running the’Beda Bro’ campaign,”he said.
