IPS Officer M.N.Anucheth Gets Additional Charge as Information& Public Relations Commissioner
The Karnataka government on Wednesday transferred senior IPS officer M.N.Anucheth and appointed him as Deputy Inspector General of Police (DIG)and Commissioner of the Department of Information and Public Relations (DIPR),Bengaluru,with immediate effect.
According to a notification issued by the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms (DPAR), Anucheth,a 2009-batch Karnataka cadre IPS officer who was serving as DIG (Recruitment),has been posted to the new role in place of Hemant M.Nimbalkar,who has been transferred.
The government has also entrusted Anucheth with the concurrent charge of Commissioner,Department of Youth Empowerment and Sports,until further orders.He replaces Kumar T.H.M.in that position.
