HAL cops in dock again:Woman PSI among three Bengaluru Police personnel trapped by ACB in Jaipur bribery case

In a major Anti-corruption operation,the Rajasthan Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) on Saturday trapped three Bengaluru Police personnel,including a Sub-Inspector and two Head Constables,for allegedly accepting a bribe from a complainant.

The accused have been identified as Sub-Inspector Anita and Head Constables Yatish Kumar and Ulvappa.

They had reportedly travelled to Jaipur in connection with the investigation of a dowry harassment case registered in Bengaluru.

According to ACB officials,the police personnel allegedly demanded a bribe of Rs.2 lakh from the complainant in exchange for extending relief in the case proceedings.

Following a complaint,the ACB verified the allegations and laid a trap at Hotel Gangaur in Jaipur.

The accused were allegedly caught red-handed while accepting Rs.40,000 as part of the demanded bribe amount.

The operation was led by ACB Additional Superintendent of Police(ASP),Bhupendra Chaudhary under the supervision of DIG Om Prakash Meena.

The action was carried out on the directions of Director General (DG) Govind Gupta and Additional Director General (ADG) Smita Srivastava.

The ACB has taken the accused into custody and is questioning them.Further legal proceedings are underway.

Recently we came to know some Karnataka police offices from HAL police station limits where arrested in Rajasthan this is not the first time.

This division police officers are committing crimes in this division from 2022 there are several complaint against this Division then the ACP and the inspector sub- inspectors constables are facing number of cases.

kidnapping people collecting huge amounts they were suspended also but still there occupying good positions in good stations government should take action against this.

Whitefield division under HAL police station is facing lot of allegations this officers are involved in real estate and has huge assets from 2021 upto 2026 government has to monitor all the cases which they have registered.
