RPF sniffer canines,Arjun and Amar,retire after rendering meritorious service

Ashutosh Kumar Singh,Divisional Railway Manager, Bengaluru Division,today honoured two distinguished RPF sniffer dogs,Arjun and Amar,in recognition of their invaluable contribution towards railway security.

On the occasion,the canine warriors were ceremonially retired after rendering more than ten years of dedicated and meritorious service to the Railway Protection Force.

Both dogs were trained in explosive detection and played a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of railway passengers,railway property,and vital installations through their exemplary service.

Dog Amar brought distinction to the Force by representing the RPF on three occasions at the All India RPF Dog Competitions,securing two Silver Medals.

Amar also won three Silver Medals at the Zonal Level RPF Dog Competitions,demonstrating exceptional skill, discipline,and operational excellence throughout its service career.

Dog Arjun rendered commendable service during numerous bandobast duties connected with important railway events and public gatherings, making significant contributions to security arrangements.

Dr.Shreyans Chinchawade,Senior Divisional Security Commissioner,Bengaluru Division,along with other senior railway officers,RPF personnel,and members of the Dog Squad,were present during the retirement ceremony and paid tribute to the dedicated service rendered by the retiring canine heroes.
