*Such an incident is a great disgrace.
*Bidadi Township:No one in the entire country has provided compensation like us.
*Major announcement on Wednesday to help the people of Bengaluru.
Terming the cancellation of NEET examination due to question paper leak as a ‘great shame,Deputy Chief Minister D K Shivakumar today demanded that the BJP MPs and Union ministers speak up about this.
Replying to reporters’questions on NEET exam cancellation near the BDA office he said,This is a great shame for all of us. Students study hard with the dream of achieving something in life.
The question paper leak causes them enormous hardship. Such incidents destroy trust entirely. We have seen many cases before, including the PSI scam.
BJP MPs must answer for this.I was watching Ashwath Narayan’s statement where he said it is better not to answer.
He was the Education Minister.Shouldn’t he say whether this is right or wrong?MPs and Union Ministers who speak up at other times must speak about this matter now. Whose failure is this?.They must say.
If this incident had happened in Karnataka,by now they would have been sitting on top of buildings and shouting.”
*Bidadi Township; No one in the country has provided compensation like us:
When asked about farmers opposing the Bidadi Township, he said: “Nobody is farming there. Only ten or twenty people might be doing so.
No one else has given the compensation we have provided.Even though there is no provision to give double compensation,I placed it before the Cabinet and got the compensation doubled.
We are providing many benefits including TDR, 35% commercial land right next to the road,FAR,and 40% land in residential areas.
The commercial land being given to them will benefit them immensely.Such compensation has not been given anywhere else in the entire country.
Even my own relatives’ land was acquired in Mumbai, and they were given only 12%. Some people are opposing this for political reasons. I have called them and told them clearly — like a parrot repeating itself — that I will not de-notify under any circumstances.
Tenders have already been called. If they are not satisfied with this compensation, we will deposit the amount in court as per the old law and proceed with our work.
In the first phase,78% of the people have agreed and received compensation.Once the remaining 2% is completed, we will begin work.”
*Major announcement on Wednesday to help the people of Bengaluru:
When asked about the meeting with BDA officials, he said:”Some major announcements will be made on Wednesday to help the people of Bengaluru.
Along with this, guidance has been provided to officials after discussing the progress of projects already undertaken.”
