The Dr Rajkumar Auto Association celebrated the 71st Kannada Rajyotsava in a grand manner in Bengaluru.
Senior Journalist Binish Thomas, who hoisted the Kannada flag, emphasised that Kannada must be given the highest priority in Karnataka.
He urged people from other States coming to Karnataka for employment to compulsorily learn Kannada and develop cordial relations with Kannadigas.
Thomas also said that when people from other States organise programmes in Karnataka, they should invite political leaders from Karnataka, including State government ministers, rather than limiting invitations to ministers and politicians from their respective States.
Dr Rajkumar Auto Association representative Auto Babu was present on the occasion.
