Prisoner Video Calls His Wife From Parappana Agrahara Jail .
Undertrial inmate makes video call to wife;clip goes viral on social media.
In yet another instance raising concerns over prison security, an undertrial inmate allegedly used a mobile phone inside the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison to make a video call to his wife.
The inmate,identified as Akbar,a habitual offender is said to have made the call from inside his cell,reportedly evading the radar of prison authorities.
The video call was screen-recorded by his wife and later posted on Instagram,bringing the incident to light.
Sources said that Akbar has since been released from jail.His wife also shared a separate video of his release on social media.
The visuals,purportedly showing the interior of the prison,have now gone viral,triggering fresh questions over the effectiveness of security measures and surveillance within the prison premises.
It may be recalled that a video of film actor Darshan serving in prison,went viral sipping tea and smoking inside the prison the video was recorded by one of the inmates from prison and posted on social media which went viral questioning the preferential treatment of under trails and convicts.
