The city police in the Month of February this year registered a total of 40 cases under Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and arrested 55 peddlers including five foreign nationals .
Senior officer said among the seized drugs a total of 130.8 kilos of Marijuana,17 grams of heroine,2.8 kilos of opium,429 grams of hasish oil and 1.4 kilos of MDMA.
The police have intensified the crackdown on drug peddlers and efforts are on to seal the source of drug supply.
