Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai said making payments without the bills is the culture of the Congress Party.
Reacting to opposition party leaders’ statement that Rs. 125 crore has been not been released for works in Anegundi here on Tuesday,he said the Congress leaders must know how things function.
After the approval,the government issues orders, and then tenders are called. Subsequently,the bills are cleared.
The CM refused to comment on the audio of a close person of the former chief minister and said persons who have made this statement are solely responsible for it.
Asked about Housing Minister V.Somanna’s statement that both KPCC President D.K.Shivakumar and Opposition Leader in the State Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah are his close friends,the CM said Somanna has said he has worked with the duo.
