B oth the State and the union governments have implemented the schemes that have provided life to people and in Tumakuru district alone over 25 lakh people have been provided with various facilities.

The incumbent government is ahead not only in the announcing of new programs but also in its full implementation,said Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

Speaking after dedicating various programs as part of Smart City Limited and inaugurating a conference of the beneficiaries of various schemes here on Sunday, he said the benefits of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s schemes such as Garib Kalyan,Atma Nirbhar Bharat, Sab Ka Saath,Sab Ka Vikas,are directly transferred to the bank accounts of the beneficiaries through DBT.

Around 53 lakh farmers of Karnataka have received around Rs.16,000 crore in the last four years from the Government of India.

As many as 15 lakh houses have been sanctioned to Karnataka under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana and built toilets under the Swacch Bharath scheme.

Drinking water has been given to lakhs of houses in the state under the Jal Jeevan mission,and under the Deen Dayal scheme,2.35 lakh houses are electrified as part of the Belaku scheme.All these happened because of the double-engine government.

As many as 13 lakh children have taken benefit of the Raitha Vidya Nidhi scheme in the state of which 17,000 kids belonged to this district.

In the Health sector,the dialysis cycle has been increased to one lakh and the chemotherapy cycle has been doubled by opening new 13 centers.

While the senior citizens are given free spectacles, the Namma Clinics are established all over the state to provide healthcare to every citizen.

Two thousand new buses will be procured exclusively for the sake of the school kids.The Yettinahole project will be completed at the earliest.
