In a swift response,personnel from Begur Police arrested two alleged mobile phone snatchers within minutes after they robbed a Swiggy delivery executive in south Bengaluru,while a third accused managed to escape.
The incident occurred at around 7.33 pm on July 12 within the limits of Hulimavu Police Station.
Senior officer told reporters that the delivery executive was on his way to deliver a food order near an apartment when three unidentified men arrived on two motorcycles,assaulted him,and forcibly snatched his mobile phone and the food parcel before attempting to flee.

immediately alerted the Namma 112 Emergency Helpline,following which the information was relayed to ASI Sathish Kumar and APC Manjunath,who were on patrol in Hoysala-214 of Begur Police Station.
The police team reached the spot within five minutes, gathered details from the victim,and launched a search in the surrounding area.
The officers intercepted and apprehended two of the accused about 500 metres from the crime scene,while the third suspect escaped.
The arrested accused were handed over to Hulimavu Police Station for further investigation and legal action.
