Three of family murdered;daughter,boyfriend suspected.
A 55-year-old man,his wife,and their younger daughter were allegedly murdered by their elder daughter and her boyfriend at an apartment in Seegehalli under the K.R. Puram police limits late on Monday night.
The deceased have been identified as Somasundar (55), Muthulakshmi (48),and Supriya (20).
Their bodies were found in a flat at Sai Green Apartment in Dhamnika Layout,Seegehalli.
Senior officer told reporters that according to preliminary investigations,the accused,identified as Shwetha,the elder daughter of the couple,and her boyfriend Kenneth, were allegedly in a live-in relationship.
The victims are said to have opposed the relationship, leading to frequent disputes within the family.
We suspect that Shwetha and Kenneth stabbed the three family members to death before fleeing the scene.The incident came to light after neighbours alerted the authorities.
Senior officers with K.R.Puram police visited the spot and conducted an inspection.The bodies were shifted to East Point Hospital for post-mortem examination.
A case has been registered and efforts are on to trace and arrest the accused.Further investigations are on to track down the accused.
