Towing Operations to Begin in Jayanagar Zone from Next Week:Commissioner K.N.Ramesh

Maheswara Rao,Chief Commissioner of the Greater Bengaluru Authority, and K.N. Ramesh,Commissioner of the Bengaluru South City Corporation, today inspected the towing vehicles scheduled to deployed for operations within the Jayanagar Zone.

The Commissioner stated that a total of three towing vehicles will be operational in the Jayanagar Zone starting next week.

This initiative aims to curb unauthorized vehicle parking, which has been causing significant inconvenience to motorists and pedestrians alike.

*Operations to Begin Post Handover of Towing Vehicles to Traffic Police:

To prevent improper parking on major roads within the Jayanagar Zone,three new towing vehicles have been procured by the South Corporation on an outsourcing basis.

These vehicles have received their fitness certificates from the Transport Department and will be officially handed over to the traffic police.

The Commissioner added that the traffic police will commence operations with these vehicles starting next week.

Basavaraj Kabade,Chief Engineer of the Corporation,and Janardhan,Executive Engineer of the T.E.C.(Traffic Engineering Cell)Department,among others,were present during the inspection.
