Three unidentified men riding a two-wheeler allegedly waylaid a 21-year-old Zomato delivery executive and snatched his mobile phone near Capital Hotel on Richmond Road in the early hours of Friday.
According to the complaint filed at Ashoknagar police station on September 25,Krishna Kumar,a native of Sitamarhi district in Bihar,has been working as a Zomato delivery executive and has been living with his relatives in Bengaluru for the past four months.
The incident occurred around 2.30 am when Kumar was riding his Fae electric two-wheeler from MG Road towards Richmond Town after receiving a delivery order.
According to the complaint,three unidentified men riding another two-wheeler approached him from behind near Capital Hotel on Richmond Road and allegedly hit his vehicle before snatching his mobile phone worth Rs. 10,000.
He approached Ashoknagar police and lodged a complaint against the unidentified trio.The police are verifying the CCTV footage from in and around to identify the trio .
