The Chandra Layout police on Tuesday arrested a 23-year-old youth and recovered gold chain worth Rs.3 lakh which he had robbed from a home maker on February 6 this year.
The accused Darshan Thimmashetty resident of Ullalu had approached the victim who was cleaning in front of her house and on the pretext of inquiring address , snatched her gold chain and escaped .
Based on the complaint the police track down the accused through CCtv footage and arrested him.The police are now probing further to ascertain his cirminal background.
