More than 25 cars,including several luxury vehicles,were reduced to ashes after a major fire broke out at a car garage in Thanisandra,North Bengaluru,in the early hours of Monday.
The blaze reportedly erupted around 5.30 am and spread rapidly through the garage, engulfing the parked vehicles before an alert could be raised.
Fire and Emergency Services personnel rushed multiple fire tenders to the spot and battled the flames for over two hours before bringing the fire under control.
Police said no casualties or injuries were reported in the incident.
The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained.Police and Fire Department officials have launched an investigation to determine the origin of the blaze and assess the extent of the damage.
Initial estimates indicate that property worth several lakhs of rupees has been destroyed.
