Deputy Chief Minister and Revenue Minister Dr.G. Parameshwara directed officials to dispose of the 2,23,190 pending E-Pauti cases in the Kalaburagi Revenue Division within a stipulated timeframe.
Today,he chaired a progress review meeting of various departments under the Kalaburagi Revenue Division at the Kalaburagi University Auditorium and issued strict instructions and necessary directions to officials.
A total of 3,57,024 cases had been identified for the creation of E-Pauti accounts. Of these,1,33,834 cases have been disposed of.
He directed officials to take immediate steps to expedite the disposal of the remaining 2,23,190 cases pending for various reasons.
The highest number of E-Pauti cases are pending in Vijayanagara, Kalaburagi,Bidar and Koppal districts. These cases must be taken up on priority and cleared within two months,he directed.
Of the total 17,576 Darkhast cases,Tahsildars have approved Annexure-I in 10,775 cases,confirming that the grant process is in order.
Immediate steps must be taken to complete podi durasthi and issue RTCs in these cases.
A large number of such cases are pending in Vijayanagara,Koppal,Kalaburagi and Ballari districts,and the respective Deputy Commissioners must dispose of them on priority, he said.
A total of 1,483 new revenue villages are to be created in the Kalaburagi Division.In cases where the issuance of final notifications is pending due to Census 2027,action must be taken without any delay once the census process is completed,he said.
Of the 1,483 identified villages, preliminary notifications have been issued for 1,048 villages,while notifications are yet to be issued for the remaining 435 villages.Of these, 150 cases are pending in Bidar district alone.
A significant number of cases are also pending in Vijayanagara,Raichur and Yadgir districts.Officials must give these cases due attention, he said.
There are 32 notified Category ‘A’ temples in the Kalaburagi Revenue Division.A comprehensive action plan must be prepared for the overall development of these temples and the creation of essential infrastructure for devotees,he said.
Encroachments are yet to be cleared from 23.23 acres of land belonging to two temples in Raichur district and 9.03 acres belonging to two temples in Yadgir district.
The encroachments must be removed and the properties brought under the custody of the Department. Strict measures must also be taken to ensure that no temple property is encroached upon in the future, he directed.
Of the 7,606 temples and temple properties in the Kalaburagi Division,khatas have been created for 2,635.
The concerned Tahsildars must take immediate action to complete the khata process for the remaining 4,971 temples and temple properties,he directed.
