Self accident:Two nursing students killed in Bike Crash

Two nursing students from Kerala were killed after the motorcycle they were riding crashed into a road median near R.R.Dental College in Kengeri during the early hours of Friday.

The deceased have been identified as Atul and Gaurishankar,both nursing students pursuing their studies in Bengaluru.

Senior officer told reporters that the accident occurred around 2 am when the two students were travelling on a motorcycle from the Mysuru side towards Bengaluru.

Near RR.Dental College,the rider reportedly lost control of the vehicle, causing the bike to ram into the road median.

The impact of the collision was severe, resulting in fatal injuries to both students.They died on the spot,police said.

Upon receiving information,Kengeri Traffic police with DCP Traffic West Dr.Anoop A Shetty rushed to the scene, conducted an inspection and later shifted the bodies for post-mortem examination.

A case has been registered and further investigation is underway to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.

Preliminary inquiries suggest that overspeeding may have contributed to the crash.
