On the On the first day of the 50 per cent concession on traffic violations,the traffic department settled a total of 1,48,747 through different modes of payment and a total amount of Rs.4,18,20,500 was collected.
The government had announced a one-time 50 per cent concession on penalties for pending cases recorded through the Police Department’s mobile e-challan system allowing the scheme to be applicable from August 23 to September 12.
