Two labourers electrocuted & two others injured while removing canopy outside bike showroom

Two labourers were electrocuted and two others sustained injuries when they are removing the canopy put out outside the two wheeler showroom came in contact with the high tension wire on Hosa road in Electronic city on Monday.

The deceased have been identified as Hasan Ali,and Abdul Khayyum who are working for BMS Tent House  situated in Singasandra.

The injured Mumrej Ali,20 and Mohidul Islam,27 were admitted to the hospital and were recovering .

Mumraj Ali,one of the injured in his complaint,said that the four were asked to get the furniture and canopy material hired by the showroom for a program.

As per the instruction,the four went to the showroom and were removing the canopy when the iron pillars came in contact with the high tension wire passing -by.

The four fell on the ground and rushed to the hospital where Hasan and Khayyum succumbed.Mumrej Ali who gained conscious at the hospital gave a statement about the incident.

Based on the statement the police have charged the showroom management and BMS tent house owner for failing to take security measures .

The accused have been charged with section 105 ( culpable homicide not amounting to murder) and section 125 ( endangering life or personal safety of others) for further investigation.
