A 10-year-old girl was crushed to death when she slipped from the scooter and came under the moving BMTC bus on Kogilu main road in Yelahanka on Thursday.
This is the third fatal accident involving BMTC bus reported in the last three days.
The deceased Tanvi Krishna,a 5th standard student was going to school on a scooter with her mother.
The scooter riders Harshitha lost control and both slipped on the road .
While Harshita fell on the safe side Tanvi riding pillion came under the bus and crushed to death.
The Yelahanka traffic police booked the driver under death due to negligence and rash and negligent driving for further investigation..
On Wednesday 64-year-old P Sampangi was killed when BMTC electric bus ran over him while he tried to get into the bus at Jayanagar bus terminal on IV block.
Sampamgi a daily wage labourer in KR market was going to work and tried to board the bus the driver closed the door and Sampangi lost balance and came under the moving wheels and crushed to death.
On Tuesday morning a 37-year-old software engineer was crushed to death when he accidentally came under the moving BMTC bus in sanjaynagar.
The victim,Roshan,was riding scooter to go to hotel for breakfast he tried to overtake a car from right side near Vibhav junction and lost control and came under the moving bus.
The Sadashivanagar police have registered a case of death due to negligence and rash and negligent driving against bus driver .
