Inter-state Drug racket busted by CCB five including four women and Foreign National arrested Seized Synthetic Drugs Worth Rs.7.8 Crores

T he Narcotics Wing of the Central Crime Branch on Tuesday busted an inter state racket and arrested a gang of five including four women and a Foreign National,seized drugs worth Rs.7.8 crore.

The accused have been identified as Pushpa, Vijaya,Devi,Poornima were caught by CCB outside Puttaparthi Railway station while they landed at the station by Prashanthi express and waiting for their contacts to Deliver the consignment.

The police recovered 8 kilos of Hasish oil and 10 kilos of Marijuana which they has concealed in their baggage .

Based on their information the police raided a house of Foreign National David John and recovered 1.4 kgs of MDMA crystals from them.

Investigations revealed that the drugs is being supplied to the peddlers from a kingpin living in a tribal village in Seetampalli and Arakku forest area in Andhra Pradesh and grow Marijuana plants to process Hashish oil and other form of drugs .

The accused would them use the women as carrier to supply the drugs to his contacts in Bengaluru,Hyderabad,Cochin,Chennai and Mumbai .

The police are now on the lookout for the kingpin who is on the run.

Finally Bengaluru Police Commissioner,CH Pratap Reddy has appreciated Joint CP Crime,Raman Gupta,DCP Crime-1,Dr SD Sharanappa,DCP Crime-2,BS Angadi,and their whole team who has done a excellent and meticulous investigation in busting the racket and seized synthetic drugs from them a suitable reward will be given to whole team he added.
