A 47-year-old Motor Vehicle Inspector working in Nelamangala Regional Transport office has filed a sexual harassment complaint against her senior who is acting in-charge officer for the last one month.
Based on the complaint,the Madanayakanahalli police have charged the accused officer identified as Rajkumar ARTO,charging him under section 75 ( deals with Sexual Harassment) on Monday for further investigations.
The victim,said that the accused officer used to ogle at her and even forced her to remove the jacket and even allegedly told her to cooperate to get the duty,she wanted .
Unable to beat the harassment,she narrated the ordeal with her family before filing a complaint with the police.
Reacting to the complaint, Rajkumar rubbished her claim stating that its a conspiracy against him by her and other staff members.
The complainant who is on her probationary period was wearing additional starts on their shoulder strap along with other officers which is against the rules .
I told them to follow the rules and they started wearing jacket to hide.They were absent to Independence Day celebration which was compulsory and he took objection.
The officer was not wearing the uniform which is mandatory and wear jacket whenever she wears uniform.I asked them to follow the protocol and respect rules,he told the media .
“The officers wanted the duty on specific post and with a specific driver .
When asked the officer told me that she had spent lot of money to get the post and need to recover “,Mr. Rajkumar,said .
I told her that that she need to follow the rules and no privileges were given to her.In order to take revenge and to take me out,she along with others had conspired this and filed a complaint,Mr.Rajkumar,said .
The entire incident she alleged was recorded in the CCTV camera installed at the chamber is for the evidence.
There were three staff members at the time of the incident,no such issue was discussed,he reiterated .
