The JP Nagar police have arrested a 44-year-old domestic help for stealing a gold valuables worth Rs.14.3 lakh from the house where she was working six months ago .
The accused Shanthi Alias Ayesha,working in the house of a teacher at a private school.
She noticed the family members wearing the gold valuables for the marriage of their relatives and keeping in the safe in January this year.
She managed to access the key and steal them.The theft came to light in May 17 when the family opened the safe and found the valuables were missing and filed a complaint suspecting the role of domestic help.
Based on the complaint,the police in May 27,picked her up for questioning .
A detailed questioning led her to confess.Based on the confession the police recovered the 143 grams of gold valuables which she had pawned in a jewel shop in Mico Layout.
