A 42-year-old,woman Member of BJP Mahila Morcha ended her life at her residence in Mattikere on Tuesday .
The deceased is Manjula,found dead at around 2 pm
after her niece who lived near by Manjula shifted to the hospital where she was declared dead.
Manjula had separated from her husband several years ago and lived alone.The couple had no children.
“A death note was recovered by the police where the deceased claimed that no one was responsible for her death,”a senior police officer said.
The Jurisdictional Yeshwantpur police have registered an Unnatural Death Report (UDR) and further investigation are on to ascertain the exact reason for her extreme step.
