n 18-year-old caretaker of a plant nursery in Haraluru who went missing since December last year was found dead at the backyard of his house on Wednesday.
The deceased Amith Kumar married February last year was working at the plant nursery owned by his relative Kamalesh Kumar and living in the same place with two of his relatives,working as food delivery boys.
In a complaint filed by Tek Chand,54,resident of Unnao district in UP and father of Amith Kumar,went missing mysteriously and his mobile phone was switched off .
The family and his relatives tried to search for him and decided to wait for few days thinking he would come back but in vain.
After waiting for few days his family members filed a missing complaint with the Bellandur police on December 2024 .
Even after two months when there was no news of his son,Tek Chand came to city and with the help of nursey owner Kamlesh and his relatives started searching for his son at the backyard to find his skeleton draped in pull over and night pant.
The father identified Amith Kumar skeleton with the help of the cloth he was wearing and filed a complaint with the police.
In his complaint,he suspect that the Amith kumar was bludgeoned to death and his body was dumped in the backyard to conceal the crime .
The Bellandur police shifted the skeletal remains of Amith Kumar for Post mortem after conducting spot inspection with the FSL team.
The police have registered a case of murder and destroying evidence under BNS for further investigation.
The family members alleged that despite missing complaint,the police failed to act and attempt to search .
The missing complaint are always a less priority for the police,unless it is linked to minor children and kidnap for ransom.
The police consider all the other cases based on the profile as elopement and put the onus on the family members to do the investigation and keep checking .
The police are now suspecting the family members involvement and waiting the last rites to question them.
