s many as four bikes gutted and few houses partially damaged in an fire broke out in the vehicles parked outside a residential house in Chamundiupura in Sarakki in JP Nagar in the wee hours of Wednesday.
Few residents who noticed fire and smoke at the houses rushed out and removed the other vehicles including two bikes and two cars to safety.But by then four bikes were gutted .
The fire even spread to the adjacent houses damaging windows and doors,sewing machine was burnt and pet birds died due to the fire .
Bharati,a domestic help whose two bikes were gutted in the fire said that she could not come out of the house as the flames blazing outside the main door .
The police rushed to the spot and conducted a spot inspection, suspected foul play .
The police are now verifying the CCTV footage from in and around to identify the suspect responsible for the act.
