A 45-year-old driver with a LPG godown driver ended life after he was cheated for Rs.4 lakh online.
The deceased identified as Rudramuni,working with Sigma Gas agency,Gejjagada halli was single parent taking care of his family after his wife separated from him one-and-half year ago .
Senior officer told reporters,that Rudramuni was living in the agency premises found unconscious after consuming liquor laced with poison.He was rushed to the hospital where he succumbed .
As per the procedure,the management had handed over a slip mobile phone of Rudramuni to the eldest daughter through which she came to know that her father has been cheated and dejected by this he had taken the extreme step.
Preeti R,in her complaint on Wednesday said that the accused Manish Jain,resident of Rohini East Metro Delhi,had befriended Rudramuni online assuring him to sell apple phone for Rs.25,000 and made him to transfer Rs.4 lakh many times assuring him to get good returns for the investment .
Initially,Rudramuni transferred the money anticipating good returns but soon realized that he had been cheated.
The police are probing the source of the money.The police based on the contact number and financial transactions trying to track down the accused.
