Former Fire officer son booked for forging documents to get job under compassionate grounds

The department of fire and emergency service has filed a cheating case against the son of a former fire officer for trying to get a job under compassionate grounds through forged documents

Based on the complaint filed by the Director General of Police,Karnataka Fire and Emergency Service,Directorate of State Disaster Management,the Bharati Nagar police have registered case of cheating and forgery against Goverdhan Singh R on Thursday.

The accused Govardhan Singh,son of Rajendra Singh who served as fire station officer in Ramanagar and died in April 2021.

Govardhan singh had applied for a job on compassionate grounds and submitted required documents to the department on April 2022.

The department had sent the educational certificates to the state board of Tamilnadu for verification and found that the documents are forged .

Based on the confirmation from the State Board of School Examination (Sec) & Board of Higher Secondary Examination,Chennai,Tamilnadu,the department filed a case seeking legal action.
