A Sandalwood tree situated in S.J.P College Campus has been stolen on Thursday.
Principal of the college,Sadashiva Murthy filed a complaint with the Vidhana Soudha police on Saturday.
According to Mr.Murthy,it was a middle grown tree situated near high tech centre in the campus.
The college has security staff despite this the accused had chopped the tree and carried the chopped tree in a vehicle.
The Vidhana Soudha police have taken up a case under theft and also under Karnataka Forest Act and efforts are on to track down the accused.
