Saffron colour for school buildings: No politics please,says CM Bommai

Politicising everything is low level,opined Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

He was speaking after garlanding the statue of former Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in front of Vidhana Soudha here on Monday.

Asked about opposition by Congress leaders for painting the school buildings with the saffron colour, he shotback, “there is saffron colour in our National Flag. .

Why they are angry on the saffron colour? The School buildings are constructed in the name of Swami Vivekananda.

Vivekananda was a monk,he wore the saffron robes.The word Viveka means knowledge for one and all. Let them learn”.

Minister Halappa Achar and Chief Secretary Vandita Sharma were present.
