Director General and Inspector General of Police,Dr. Alok Mohan directed the senior police officers to visit one police station everyday,except on some busy schedule or VIP duties .
In a circular issued on Wednesday,Mr.Mohan,said that the visit of the police station is to check on the functions of the police during their visit.
In addition to interacting with the senior police officers at the station,the senior police officials also should interact with the police constables,head constables as well as other visitors who are at the station.
Mr.Mohan also directed the Deputy Superintendent, Superintendent level officials to perform at least one night round by surprise to check on the night rounds police personnel by surprise checks.
The senior officials have also been directed to log into the e-beat system and night round apps to check on the night beat system.
The senior officials ensure that all sub ordinate police officers on night rounds and beat duty log.The officials should report to the state police head of their visits and surprise night rounds .
On last week,Mr.Mohan had issued a circular directing all the stations in the State should put up phone numbers of senior police officers so that the public can reach out to them in case any complaint is not attended too.
Mr.Mohan soon after assuming charges said that he wanted to see the police station people friendly .
