Organizers of Ganesha booked for creating ruckus during the procession

The Chikkajala police on Thursday registered a case of nuisance against the organizers of Ganesha idol for creating ruckus during the procession.

Based on the complaint filed by Police Sub Inspector,Mailari Sunagar,the police charged the organizers identified as Manjunatha alias rice Manja and his associates charging them under section 290 (public nuisance) of the IPC.

In his complaint Mr.Sunagar,said that the organizers were carrying out the procession to immerse the Idol at around 11.30 pm and creating nuisance and causing public disturbance.

Despite repeated reminders and warning the committee continue nuisance violating the rules and guidelines laid down by the jurisdictional police at the time of granting permission for installation.

Earlier this month,members of pro Hindu organization staged a protest in front of Chamarajapete police station accusing the police for imposing strict rules for Ganesha installation. The protestors were detained and later released.
