During the operation, the police detained four persons and questioned them.
According to the police, the four admitted during interrogation that they had kept the minor children with them and made them beg at traffic signals across Bengaluru to earn money.
The four accused were subsequently handed over to Yelahanka police station along with a report for further legal action.
The 13 rescued children were produced before the Child Welfare Committee (CWC), along with a report, for further action, including efforts to trace their biological parents.
