n a major embarassment to Karnataka police administration,three officials including an Inspector with cyber crime,senior sub registrar and a government school teacher among 84 arrested by Jaipur Special Crime police during a raid on rave party on Sunday.

As many as 84 people, including 13 women, have been arrested from a farmhouse in Sahipura under Jaisinghpura police station where a rave party was underway.

The arrests were made after a crime branch team of Jaipur police along with Jaisinghpura police raided the farmhouse.

The arrests were made after a team of Jaipur police raided the Saipura bagh palace on Saturday night where the accused were gambling, a senior police official said.

Senior officer told reporters,we received tip off from our reliable inputs that a Rave party is going on in a Farm house where in they have informed that it is wedding party our team headed by,Addl CP, Special Crime Branch,Ajay Lamba and his team swung into action.

A special team with additional force swung into action and raided the farm house by closing all the corners of the farm house as In and Exit entry.

During raid the team found foreign liquors,hookah,and other items the team arrested 84 persons among Karnataka Police Inspector,Tahsildar,businessman,Teacher,Zilla Panchayat Member and others.

During investigation it was found that the trio had applied leave to attend the illegal party,where dance,live band performance,gambling and liquor was served all night.

The trio paid Rs.2 lakh entry fee to attend the party.

During raid 9 hukka,44 bottles of IMFL,66 beer bottles,14 luxury cars,one truck and Rs.23.78 lakh in cash were also recovered,Additional Commissioner of Jaipur Police Ajaypal Lamba said.

The accused are from different states including Haryana, Punjab, Karnataka, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra etc,” police said.

Detailed investigation by the team it was found”It has become clear that the party was organised after a meeting.

Those coming from outside were offered an isolated place,as well as liquor,women to accompany them and casino-like services.

As the evidence indicates women were used in a material-like manner,charges of abetting human trafficking under relevant sections will also be framed against the accused in this case.the officer added.

The raid took place around 2 am on Sunday Saipura Bagh Hotel and Resort.The cops got a tip-off about the dance party and raided the farmhouse.

Mohit Soni,the manager of the resort where the rave party took place, has also been arrested.

During probe,it was found out that Delhi resident Naresh Malhotra alias Rahul alias Bablu and his son Manvesh had arranged the event.

The entire event was organised by a Meerut resident named Manish Sharma,the police officer said.

As per reports, online casino games were being played on five different tables and youth were found smoking hookah and consuming alcohol.

The organisers dint avail permission from the excise department for the liquor party.

Cash worth Rs.23 lakh was recovered from the place and 20 luxury cars were seized by the police.

The trio have been arrested and remanded to judicial custody while officials informed the state counterparts about the arrest.

The Home Department is waiting for the report to suspend the officials on the grounds of mis conduct and lapses on their part.
