Vande Bharat Express:Stone Pelters on Vande Bharat express are from Bihar, identified by railways; state police started investigation

Abhijit Ray, Kolkata;After investigation, the Railways informed that the stones was not being thrown from Bengal but was thrown from Bihar. Stones were pelted from Bihar in Vande Bharat Express, not  from West Bengal. This is what Eastern Railway said on Thursday. In the last two days, the state politics has been in turmoil due to the incident of stone pelting at Vande Bharat Express. This time the railway has identified the accused in the stone pelting incident. Railways claims that the accused have been identified with the help of CCTV footage attached to the rail of the Howrah-New Jalpaiguri-bound Vande Bharat express.The BJP leaders including the opposition party leaders brought Bengal to the table. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee gave a strong response mentioning that topic. On Thursday, addressing the media on his way back from Gangesagar, the Chief Minister said, “The railway itself said that the stones were hurled from Bihar. But people have been misled by spreading fake news here for three days. Legal action will be taken against those doing this.”.
