CCB Police Busts Rave Party At IPS Layout In HSR Layout three arrested

The Bengaluru City Police’s CCB has busted an alleged rave party being held at a service villa in HSR Layout and arrested three organisers for conducting the event without permission while allegedly allowing the use of prohibited hookah,electronic cigarettes and alcohol.

According to the FIR registered at the HSR Layout Police Station,the raid was carried out at Rev Keys Hospitality Services,Villa C-9, 14th Cross,2nd Main,Sector-6,HSR Layout,based on credible information received by the CCB Women and Narcotics Squad.

Senior officer said the organisers—Dikshit,Vedant Pandit and Shankar—had allegedly booked the villa for around Rs.20,000 and organised the party without obtaining permission from the competent authority.

Invitations were reportedly sent through the Amigos app, with an entry fee of ₹1,099 for men and ₹499 for women.

During the raid,CCB officials allegedly found partygoers consuming alcohol,using prohibited hookah and electronic cigarettes,and playing loud music in violation of law.Prohibited hookah products,e-cigarettes and liquor were seized from the premises.

The three organisers have been arrested,while a case has also been registered against the villa owner for permitting the premises to be used for the illegal event.

The FIR has been registered under Sections 32,34 and 38A of the Karnataka Excise Act,1965,Sections 7 and 8 of the Cigarettes and Other Tobacco Products Act (COTPA),2003, and Sections 7 and 8 of the Prohibition of Electronic Cigarettes Act, 2019.

Police also said that women present at the party were safely escorted from the premises following the raid.
