Byatarayanapura police have registered a case after a man was allegedly stabbed over a trivial argument, officials said on Monday.
The injured is identified as Dikshith,23, a local tempo driver.
Senior officer told reporters that,on Sunday evening, Dikshith and his friend Yathish were at the tempo stand.
At the same time,an argument began over a trivial matter between Yathish and one Mahadeva,who was also at the stand and was previously a driver.
Mahadeva then informed his son Yeshwant,who came to the spot along with a few of his friends.When Dikshith tried to intervene between them and Yathish,he was stabbed,the officer said.
Dikshith was taken to a hospital where he is being treated.A case has been registered.
“Mahadeva has been arrested,while a search is on for others,”an officer said.
