A minor fire broke out at the Anekal Government Hospital on the outskirts of Bengaluru on Tuesday morning,prompting the swift evacuation of patients.No casualties or injuries were reported.
According to Fire and Emergency Services officials,the control room received an alert at 9.41 am,and a fire tender was dispatched within a minute.
Preliminary investigation indicated that the fire originated in the hospital’s mortuary room.

“Patients were immediately evacuated as a precautionary measure, and no casualties or injuries were reported,”a Fire and Emergency Services officer said.
Firefighters brought the blaze under control, and the operation was concluded by 11.30 am.
Officials have launched an investigation to determine the exact cause of the fire.
