The Bagepalli police have detained a Pakistani woman National and her son for allegedly residing in India illegally using voter ID and ration card after the expiry of their visas.
Senior officer said Farhanaz,a Pakistani citizen,and her son Mohammed Fardeen Khan were living in Dasaragere village in Bagepalli taluk.

A case has been registered against them for allegedly overstaying their visas and remaining in the country without valid authorization.
Investigators said Farhanaz had married Ayub Khan,a resident of Dasaragere village.The couple has two children,and Mohammed Fardeen Khan has also been taken into custody as part of the investigation.
Preliminary inquiries indicate that both Farhanaz and her son are Pakistani citizens.Police are also verifying allegations that they possessed Indian identity documents,including a ration card,Aadhaar card,voter identity card and bank accounts,despite not being Indian citizens.
The authenticity of these documents is under investigation.
Police said Ayub Khan is currently employed as a bus driver in gulf while Farhanaz and the children had been residing in the village.
Officials stated that although their visas had expired, they had not returned to Pakistan.It is also alleged that their visas were not renewed following Operation Sindoor.
Based on a complaint regarding their alleged illegal stay, police initiated an investigation and subsequently detained the mother and son.
The investigation is ongoing,and authorities are verifying the immigration status and related documents of the accused.
