Ashutosh Kumar Singh,Divisional Railway Manager, Bengaluru Division,today inaugurated a newly commissioned Portable RPF office at KSR Bengaluru Station.
The inauguration marks a significant step towards strengthening field-level security infrastructure and enhancing the operational capabilities of the Railway Protection Force.

As part of this initiative, seven Portable RPF Office units have been procured and installed at strategic RPF Posts across Bengaluru Division.
These units are designed to provide flexible, efficient, and rapid-deployment infrastructure support to RPF personnel engaged in safeguarding railway property and ensuring passenger security,particularly at wayside and vulnerable railway stations.
Equipped with facilities comparable to standard RPF Posts, the container-based units can be customized to suit operational requirements.
In addition to functioning as Portable RPF Offices,they can serve as temporary accommodation for deployed personnel,Command and Control Centres,Medical Aid Facilities,and Operational Hubs during emergencies, special security arrangements,and disaster response situations.
The portable offices will also act as mobilization and transit facilities for RPF personnel performing field and train escort duties across the Division.
Speaking on the occasion,Ashutosh Kumar Singh appreciated the efforts of the Railway Protection Force in adopting innovative solutions to strengthen security infrastructure and enhance operational effectiveness across Bengaluru Division.
Dr.Shreyans Chinchawade,Senior Divisional Security Commissioner,Bengaluru Division,along with other senior railway officers,RPF personnel were present.
