A 39-year-old realtor cum small time financier was hacked to death by a group of armed men in Machohalli over a row over his wife s illicit affair on Tuesday.
The deceased has been identified as Vinay Kumar who had shifted with his family to Machohalli from Kamakshipalya after a fight with his friend Dhanjaya,an autorickshaw driver.
Probe revealed that vijay Kumar was married to Asha ten years ago and accused Dhananjaya,an autorickshaw driver,of having affair with Asha.He even caught them chatting with each other and sharing photos .
Even after shifting the house,the affair allegedly continued and Dhanjaya warned vijay kumar with dire consequences.
On Tuesday Vijay Kumar stepped out of the house and found dead in a pool of blood near Machohalli d group layout .
The madanayakanahalli police rushed to the spot and conducted a detailed probe and suspected that Dhananjaya and his associates carried out the attack.
The police have taken Asha into custody for questioning and verifying her possible role in the murder .
