CM D K Shivakumar said that Considering the wishes and requests of all youngsters,special permission has been granted for hotels and restaurants to operate until 3:30 AM for the screening of today’s FIFA World Cup final match.He appealed to football fans to show restraint.
He spoke to the media at Vidhana Soudha on Sunday.
The Chief Minister said that the police have installed cameras everywhere.Whichever team wins,the youth should watch the football game without losing their patience.

There is no Sunday for Ministers,DCs ,and the Police. They must work 24 hours a day.Therefore,a video conference is being conducted with DCs and CEOs regarding the preparations to handle the drought situation,he informed.
*Drinking Water:One crore rupees for each taluk :
He also stated that arrangements have already been made to release a grant of Rs.1 crore to each taluk specifically for drinking water.
