The Whitefield division police conducted a massive operation late last night to curb rowdy activities and criminal acts in the city.
Under the leadership of DCP Whitefield Division, Saidullah Adawath,along with ACP Whitefield,Reena Suvarna with Inspectors and staff raids were conducted and search was conducted at the houses of more than 150 old and active rowdy sheeters at a time.
This special operation took place in the city’s Whitefield, Varthur,Mahadevapura,K.R. Puram and Avalahalli police station limits.
The police team searched the houses of rowdies from 12 midnight to 3 am.
A total of 28 special police teams were formed for this mega raid.
A total of more than 140 police personnel,including ACPs and inspectors, participated in this operation and simultaneously raided the houses of rowdies.
Our Police teams have conducted intensive interrogations about the rowdy sheeters’homes,current addresses and their antecedents.
Also, some rowdies were stopped on the road and their vehicles have been inspected.During this, police team have seized a total of 13 vehicles without proper documents.
During the raid,the police checked the rowdy sheeters’ houses for any weapons or illegal items and issued a stern warning to everyone.
We have issued a stern warning that strict legal action will be taken and imprisonment will be imposed if anyone is involved in disturbing public peace,extorting money or any other criminal case.
