Dr.Shrikant Sajjan,an Ayurvedic professor attached to an Ayurvedic hospital in Ballari,was found dead at his residence in Bengaluru’s Chandra Layout on Thursday in an alleged case of suicide.
Police suspect that the 45-year-old may have taken the extreme step following a family dispute,though the exact reason is yet to be established.
The incident reportedly occurred on Thursday afternoon but came to light later in the day, following which Chandra Layout police visited the house and conducted a spot inspection.
A case of Unnatural Death Report (UDR) has been registered at the Chandra Layout Police Station,and further investigation is underway.
