Chief Minister D K Shivakumar today hit back at the Opposition for criticising the SIR process in the State saying that the job of the Opposition was to criticise.
Responding to questions from the media at the residence of AICC Mallikarjun Kharge,he said,On behalf of the government,we must ensure justice for everyone, and we have appealed to everyone to protect their voting rights.We too have our own protest.Wherever we need to protest lawfully,we will protest.”
He was replying to a question on Opposition parties’ allegation that the SIR process was being carried out at a single location rather than door-to-door.
